How long does a detail take?
A Mini Detail generally requires 2+ hours. Full Interior and Clay & Seal services generally require 4–6+ hours, and a Full Detail generally requires 6–10+ hours. Timing can change with vehicle size and condition.
Are the listed prices exact?
No. Listed prices are starting ranges. Accurate quotes are provided after an in-person inspection based on vehicle size and condition.
Can I get an estimate before an inspection?
Yes. House of Detailing can provide a ballpark estimate by email after reviewing your vehicle details and concerns.
Does Full Interior include an exterior wash?
An exterior wash is not included in the base Full Interior package, but a basic exterior wash can be added for $50.
What is included with a paint-correction level?
Every level includes a standard interior service, foam bath, deep wheel clean, clay-bar decontamination, paint enhancement or correction, and a five-year ceramic coating. The correction steps and coated surfaces vary by level.
How much curing time does ceramic coating need?
Each listed paint-correction and ceramic-coating package includes an additional 24 hours of curing time after the labor is completed.
What if I’m not sure which service to choose?
Select any options that sound close or choose “Not sure—help me decide” in the quote form. Add notes about the vehicle and what you want improved.
Can I request something outside the listed packages?
Yes. Custom requests are accepted. Use the Additional Notes field to explain what you need.
Is a deposit required?
Yes. A 50% deposit is required to reserve all appointments.
What area do you serve?
We serve the Bay Area. Exact location and arrival instructions are provided after your appointment is confirmed.
How does membership pricing work?
Membership pricing is per completed visit: $140 for a monthly visit or $120 per visit on the bi-weekly schedule. Vehicle eligibility and the included maintenance work are confirmed before enrollment.
What does windshield PPF help protect against?
Windshield protection film helps reduce damage from everyday road debris, small rock impacts, and surface pitting. We’ll confirm vehicle compatibility before installation.
